The Shakey Rays played in Bangalore recently. They know their Rock-n-Roll. I really liked the song, “Queen Bee On The Radio”. When I first heard about them, I thought the name was a portmanteau of the South Indian pronunciation of ‘Shakira’. It is not the case. And I don’t know what train of thought led me to think that. Anywho, do catch them live if you can.
It will be time well spent.
The band members are Dhruva, Vikram, Niranjan and Tiburtius.
